This Samsung External hard-drive is very lightweight and my Apple Ibook G4 recognized it immediately when I plugged it into my USB 2.0 port.
I bought the 500 GB model and it comes with the USB 2.0 cable. Also included is a nice soft case.
Time machine (Apple backup software) recognized it immediately and set-up was painless. I partitioned the drive into two separate partitions and it works great.
I was looking for a portable drive to use as a backup device and this Samsung drive fit the bill. So far I can’t think of anything to complain about.
The housing around the drive seems to be pretty sturdy and looks nice.
