If your stool looks like black tar and you have serious stomach pain, then go to the doctor immediately. You could have amebic dysentery.

Travelers Diarrhea (This diarrhea goes away without treatment)

“Cipro” Ciprofloxacino (500mg)

  • 6 Pills
  • Take 2 tablets twice daily for 3 days
  • Do not take with milk, Calcium fortified beverage or yogurt
  • Avoid the sun

For treatment of protozoan Diarrhea (Diarrhea that lasts more than 1 week)

Tinidazol (500 mg)

  • 12 Pills
  • 4 tablets daily for 3 days
  • Take with food
  • No alcohol during treatment and no alcohol for 3 days after treatment
  • Side effects can be headache and dizziness
