Radio Shack voltage converter
I bought this voltage converter in Costa Rica at Radio Shack and I must admit I’m pretty disappointed with it.
The voltage converter is bulky and heavy. It sags when I plug it into the wall and often just falls out of the socket. As you can see in the pictures the thing is just poorly thought out. It even gets hot after a few minutes and you need to unplug it or it automatically shuts-off. Often my hotels will have the plugs sockets installed sideways and I need to tape the Radio Shack voltage converter to the add-on plug adaptor or it just slips out.
I’ve seen lots of travelers with voltage converters that are compact and light. Come on Radio Shack, you can do better than this.
