“Terminal Terrestre Quitumbe,” in Quito, Ecuador.

The old bus terminal “Terrestre de Cumanda” is no longer in use in Quito, Ecuador. Now the new modern bus terminal called “Terrestre Quitumbe” is the main bus terminal in Quito. The locals call the bus terminal “Tumbe.”
Too reach Terrestre Quitumbe is fairly easy. From historic Centro in Old Town you would just jump on an electric trolley running south to the end. Then you follow the signs above and walk half a block to another trolley that takes you to the new bus terminal “Terrestre Quitumbe.”
Once you arrive at the Quitumbe bus terminal you will find a modern building and finding a bus to your destination is pretty straightforward. On the lower level you can have a meal in one of the affordable food stands.
